Asiana will increase flights to New York, Honolulu, Bangkok, and Cebu.


On a notice on the Seoul, South Korea-based airline's website, Asiana will add a second daily flight between Seoul Incheon and New York-JFK starting Wednesday, April 30. Operating as OZ223/OZ224, the new flights will be in addition to the current daily service on the route.


According to a report from the Korea JoongAng Daily, OZ223/OZ224 will see the use of the bigger Airbus A380 aircraft from May 30.


From June 1, Asiana will increase its current flights between Incheon and Honolulu, Hawaii (OZ231/OZ232) from five-times weekly (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday) to daily.


On the Incheon-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route, Asiana will operate three additional flights – OZ744/OZ743 - starting June 1. The additional flights will operate alongside the daily service (OZ742/OZ741) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.


The airline will increase its flights between Incheon and Cebu to daily from July 23. Asiana currently operates four-weekly flights - OZ710/OZ709 – every Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday to Cebu.
